Welcome to Woodrow Wilson Elementary, where you will find the MOST AMAZING and HARDEST WORKING students around! At WWES, it is our focus to personalize the learning experience for each and every student - regardless of ability. Through weekly collaborative planning, rigorous classwork, and strong home-school connections, we are working hard to produce students who can critically think and problem solve when facing new challenges, as well as develop individuals who are team players. Additionally, we spend a great deal of time and energy ensuring that your child is safe on their way to and from school, as well as during the school day. As a collective school group, we are constantly looking at ways to improve what we do and how we do it.
But, we can't do it alone. We NEED your help! Please take a vested interest in your child's education by asking them about school, checking their take-home folder, and ensuring that they have completed any homework (which includes reading for 20 minutes EVERY night!). Additionally, our classrooms and lunch time are always welcome to visitors. All we ask is that you sign-in at the front office so we can have a record of who is on campus and what part of the building you will assisting in. By working together, we can give our students the competitive advantage they need to be successful in school and when facing challenges in life.
