My name is Crystal Overcash and I am a Public Health Nurse with the Cabarrus Health Alliance.  I am the school nurse for Woodrow Wilson Elementary School where the staff and students call me “Nurse Crystal.”  I received my Associates degree in Nursing from Davidson County Community College and my Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing.

I am married with one grown daughter and a three year old grandson.   I am an animal lover and currently have four dogs who were all rescues.  My nursing background is varied, I have experience in adult and pediatric clinical research, labor and delivery/post-partum/newborn nursery, and ICU.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me on student school days at (704) 933-2935 or by email at .  My fax number is 704-932-5502.  My office hours are the same as school hours, Monday – Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

My philosophy:

Healthy children learn better, if we work together as a team we can make it happen!

Attendance matters…

Make germs scatter!

Immunization Requirements

Immunization and physical exam requirements:

North Carolina law requires that ALL students have a complete immunization record on file at the school by the 30th calendar day of school entry. Kindergartners are also required to have a physical exam on file by the 30th calendar day of school entry. The physical exam must have been performed within one year of school entry. The principal will be notified of students who are not in compliance as of the 30th day, and those students will not be allowed to return to school until they meet the requirements.

Any student entering a North Carolina Public school for the first time, no matter the age/grade of the child, is also required to have a physical exam completed by a North Carolina Physician on file at school by the 30th calendar day of school entry.
